This programme of work saw the modernisation of nine stations under the SWIP and STAKE Framework agreements with Transport for London. Upgraded stations included Temple, Liverpool Street, Tottenham Court Road, Embankment, Chancery Lane, Paddington, Charing Cross, Barbican, Sloane Square and Vauxhall.

DMC made a major contribution to this project, providing screeding, floor tiling, pre-cast stair treads and nosings. We were also responsible for the demolition of existing floors and walls, as well as installing wall rendering and tiling, skirtings, matwells and access hatches.

Most of the work had to be completed during engineering hours and weekend possessions, which required a highly organised logistics plan and close collaboration with the stations and various other trade contractors.

DMC has now completed over 120 London Underground stations and our experience of these works is unrivalled. To learn more, please get in touch.
