HS2 (High Speed 2) is the most ambitious UK rail project in decades. This high-speed railway line will, on completion, slash journey times between London and a whole range of towns and cities in the Midlands and the North of England, including Birmingham, Manchester, Crewe, Warrington and Wigan.

London Euston will be a key hub in the new network and will double the number of passengers using the station. The station’s development is part of a new masterplan that will help to create 16,000 new jobs and 2,200 new homes.

A key challenge of the enabling works at Euston Station is maintaining the flow of passengers while the project progresses. Since 2019, we have worked on distinct sections of the project, which has involved the installation of new terrazzo floor tiles to the main concourse, matwells across the main station entrance, new stair finishes to the mezzanine, plus access ramps, screeding, skirtings and access covers.
